Winter 2008-2009
- What: Sagebrush Seed Collection (Collect sagebrush seed for habitat restoration of burned areas)
- Where: Boise Mountains and other sites in the Southwest Region.
- When: November 22 and December 6 & 13.
- Logistics: Transportation, tools provided.
- # Volunteers: Fifty to 100 each day.
- What: Nest Box Maintenance (Maintain nest boxes along the Boise, Snake and Payette Rivers)
- Where: MK Nature Center, Joplin Rd., Barber Park, Swan Falls, Montour, Payette River, Crane Falls and Ted Trueblood Wildlife Management Area.
- When: January 10, 17, 31, and February 7 & 14, 2009.
- Logistics: Transportation, tools provided.
- # Volunteers: Two to Eight each day.
- What: Big Game Winter Range Restoration (Plant bitterbrush and sagebrush seedlings to restore native upland habitats)
- Where: Boise River Wildlife Management Area east of Boise and other sites in southwest Idaho.
- When: March 7, 14, 21, 28 and April 4 & 11, 2009.
- Logistics: Tools, transportation provided.
- # Volunteers: Fifty to eighty each day.
